PrimaSELECT CARBON – High performance carbon 3D printer filament
PrimaSELECT Carbon belongs to the latest generation of high-performance filament for your 3D printer. The PrimaSELECT Carbon filament is based on PETG and is reinforced with 20% carbon fibres. This creates a robust filament that is perfect for 3D printed parts that can be used in the automotive industry, drones and RC parts.

Carbon 3D printer filament with unique material properties
PrimaSELECT CARBON is a very useful material that has very unique material properties. Mixed with small, chopped strands of carbon fibre, PrimaSELECT CARBON filament offers incredible stiffness, structure and great interlayer adhesion. Due to the fact that the risk of warping is very low, PrimaSELECT Carbon is very easy to 3D print and has a matte finish after 3D printing. The finished 3D prints are very stiff and useful if you need objects with a good stiffness-to-weight ratio.
Successful processing of PrimaSELECT Carbon Filament
PrimaSELECT Carbon does not require a heated print bed for processing. If your 3D printer has one, set it to 35-60˚C to get really good adhesion of the first layer to the print bed surface.
Due to the abrasive nature of PrimaSELECT Carbon, we recommend that you use a hardened steel nozzle for this filament. Using a normal brass nozzle is not a problem, but it will wear out the nozzle in a short time.
Carbon Filament – Optimum adhesion to the build platform
PrimaSELECT Carbon sticks to BuildTak, glass coated with glue spray or stick, painter's tape coated with hairspray. It has also been used successfully with glue stick, 3DLac, DimaFix and Magigoo.
Delivery PrimaSELECT CARBON
PrimaSELECT CARBON is rolled up on a transparent spool with 500 g of high-quality filament. It is packaged in a sturdy box and packed with silica gel to prevent moisture.
1,75 mm & 2,85 mm filament diameter
PrimaSELECT CARBON is available in the diameter sizes 1.75 mm and 2.85 mm.
Latest production technology
Our state-of-the-art factory is equipped with the latest laser measurement technology to ensure you get a filament spool with a very tight diameter and roundness tolerance. This in turn ensures a filament that is compatible with most popular 3D printers on the market today.
We recommend to use a 0,6mm hardened Nozzle
